A Unique Installation at Beautiful Bernic Lake

Last week, Creative Door’s Manitoba branch installed two impressively large 16-foot wide by 20-foot tall vertical lift doors for a massive fabric storage structure for Tanco Mine, located on the northwest shore of Bernic Lake.

When we received word that we would be collaborating with Norseman Structures, we knew we would be working with a world-class provider of fabric building solutions. We were thrilled to partner with them and provide our industry-leading commercial door knowledge to contribute a high-quality addition to their structure. 

The Richards-Wilcox Advantage 200-MR door, supplied for this project, needed to be seamlessly joined to the existing custom bracing found throughout the structure. The sheer size of the door was a challenge to work with: the headshaft at 40’ high and the potential swaying of the door had to be completely eliminated. Our technicians wrapped up the installation within the business week, providing a commercial sectional door durable enough to withstand the elements and daily wear-and-tear.
