   FinDoor folding doors stand up to frequent daily use and can easily last up to 30 years with minimal maintenance. They rely on a small number of moving parts, which makes them unlikely to break down and their parts only need to be lubricated periodically. Additionally, since FinDoors don’t use chains, springs, or rails to operate, they don’t require regular safety inspections, even when electrically operated.
3. They provide superior insulation The core of each door is clad in sheet steel and has a treated surface made of a water-resistant, thermally insulating material. The eight-fold male-female weatherstrip and double door sweep tightly and adhere to the critical areas when the door is closed, resulting in a weathertight seal that keeps out air and moisture and prevents heat transmission.
5. They have thermal glass The windows on the doors are made of double-paned thermal glass which provides an R-value of 12.5. In addition, the glass retains its clarity for over 20 years, unlike plastic materials that can darken over time. Furthermore, the doors come in a fully glazed option, which is ideal for car dealerships, where style and visibility are a top priority.
6. They’re space-saving FinDoor folding doors open to the side and tuck away into a space behind the door jamb, creating a wide opening. Unlike overhead doors, they don’t take up any ceiling space, which provides more interior clearance and lighting options.
7. They have long-lasting hinges The doors are mounted using corrosion-proof mounting devices that meet the C4 classification. This ensures the hinges will seamlessly open and close, and that they’ll remain rust-free for up to 40 years.
8. They can be automated
   The folding doors can be equipped with wireless, remotely controlled mechanisms. One remote can open and shut up to four doors simultaneously. The doors can also be fitted with electric eyes or connected to a wall-mounted push-button system for added convenience.
