The Consumer Choice Award (CCA) was inaugurated in 1987 to distinguish business excellence in organizations and assist consumers in making smarter and safer buying decisions. The CCA selects awardees in a variety of business categories leveraging Léger Marketing, one of Canada’s largest polling and research marketing firms, to research and gather survey data, ensuring accuracy of the results and preventing bias.
Through a series of telephone interviews, online reviews, open and close-ended surveys, Leger confirms that the chosen businesses are in good standing and held in high repute. The awardees are then selected after ranking the companies based on market research survey responses from consumers and business owners.
