Landmark Legacy Homes - House of Hope

Creative Door is excited to kick-off 2015 with a bang and support another great cause, the Landmark Legacy Homes House of Hope!

The House of Hope, since its inception in 1995, has successfully raised over $2 million for the University Hospital Foundation at the University of Alberta. Multiple wards and services, such as cancer, cardiology, and critical care have benefited from donations raised by an initiative close to the heart of Landmark Group of Companies owner Reza Nasseri.

The House of Hope is the innovative concept created by Nasseri, which unites Landmark’s corporate citizenship program, Landmark Cares, with homebuilders and suppliers who donate materials along with their expertise and labour to build a new home that is sold on the market with all proceeds supporting the University Hospital Foundation.

Nasseri has used the extraordinary level of success that he has seen through the operation of Landmark Homes to support the communities and selected charities within those communities that are close to him personally. This is an outstanding example of how a successful business can make a real difference in its community.

This year Creative Door was honoured to be asked to be a part of such a wonderful fundraising initiative.  We have joined forces with some of our most trusted suppliers to provide the installation of a 9600 classic raised panel Wayne Dalton door and a chain drive (half horsepower) LiftMaster operating system with MyQ technology for the House of Hope.

The House itself is located at 9436 - 211 Street in the Webber Greens area of Edmonton, Alberta. Creative Door is scheduled to install our contribution in February of 2015, right before the House is placed on the market in the spring.
